Dhvani R&D developed an Automatic Defect Recognition (ADR), a software algorithm to detect the defects
automatically with out human interference. This algorithm is integrated with Magnetic Particle inspection system
for a fully automatic and seamless inspection process.

System Details
The complete system consists of
- 1. Magnetic particle inspection system with rotary arrangement for rotating the sample.
- 2. Camera unit system for taking the images of the sample.
- 3. Computer system with ADR image processing tool for automatic defect identification and sizing.
System Descripion
- 1. The samples are placed on the rotary table arranged at the MPI station.
- 2. MPI solution is applied and the samples is set to rotate.
- 3. The camera system takes the images of the sample while rotating.
- 4. The captured images will be processed by the ADR algorithm to identify defects.
- 5. System gives an alarm as per accept/ rejection criteria.
- 6. Mapping of defects on the samples for visualization in post processing.
